HOW TO ORDER

We have made ordering as easy as possible. Our books are divided into Categories so you are able to browse each page or use the search facilities on every page to make your selection. List/Search by Title, Author or Keyword.

For new customers:

  • Make your selection and select  "Add to Basket"
  • When you have finished shopping select "Check Out"
  • Complete the "New Customer" section, taking care to enter the correct details and select "Next"

A new customer account will be automatically created for you.

You will be sent an email with your account details.

Enter any Special Delivery Instructions, including the name of business if goods are being sent to a business address, and your credit card details and select  "Submit Payment"

You will be taken to a confirmation page and will receive a follow-up email confirming order and delivery details.

For Existing Customers

  • Make your selection and "Add To Basket"
  • When you are happy with your purchases "Check Out"
  • Log in with your customer email address and password.  Enter your SCB Club Identifier if applicable.

If you have forgotten your login details there is a link to a password recovery tool and your password will be emailed to you.

To change your Address, Email Address or Password, go to MY ACCOUNT and update your details.

Enter any Special Delivery instructions and your credit card details and press "Submit Payment"

You will be taken to a confirmation page and will receive a follow-up email confirming order and delivery details.

Any personal information that you submit is only used to process your orders. We are not involved in the selling, trading or other unauthorised use of personal information. We do not pass on your personal details to any other organisations.

Information about sales, trading patterns and navigation techniques may be provided to reputable third parties, which may comprise data collected about you and other users to form aggregate results. It will not include any direct personal information that may identify you as our customer.

POSTAGE & DELIVERY

What are your shipping rates?

A flat rate of $7.95 postage and handling applies to all orders within Australia.

When can I expect my order to arrive?

Orders will be delivered within 7-14 working days. 

Orders are delivered by Australia Post and we urge you to order as early as possible to avoid delays during busy periods.

In order to avoid delays with receiving your order, if you are having it sent to your place of work, you must include your business name. If we are required to redeliver your parcel because of an incomplete or incorrect address you will be charged for the additional postage.

Can I have my order delivered to a P.O. Box?

Yes we deliver to PO Boxes

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

How do I return an item(s)?

If you have received a defective item, or an item which is different from what you ordered, you must notify us within 30 days from the date you received it to receive a returns authorization.  To receive a returns authorization please call FREECALL 1 800 657 003

To return an item(s), please include the invoice accompanying your goods and indicate the reason for the return.  Goods must be returned within 30 days of receiving.  Once we receive your returned item we will issue a refund via the same payment method used when purchasing.

Please note delivery charges are not refundable unless the goods are faulty or not as ordered. 

How can I exchange a product(s)?

If you would like to exchange an item, please follow the same instructions as above indicating your requirements, and include $7.95 (cheque, money order or credit card details) for re-sending.

Refunds and exchanges are processed within 48 hours of receipt.  Please ensure your name, address, phone number and instructions are clearly indicated.

What do I need to know about refund cheques?

All refunds can be held in credit against your account for future purchases if requested.  On occasion we may owe you an amount which is $5 or less in total.  Our policy is to hold this amount and to deduct it from your next order.  You may request a refund cheque for the amount owing at any time by calling customer service on 1 800 657 003 or email us at custservice@scb.com.au

WHAT IS SAMPLE CLEARANCE CATEGORY?

Titles in the Sample Clearance Category are end of run, sample stock and books reduced due to minor shop soiling of covers.  Prices have been further reduced to reflect this fact.

All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars and are GST inclusive.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

We accept all major credit cards, i.e. MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Diners Club.

TAX INVOICE

Social Club Books Pty Ltd A.B.N. number is 60 517 495 756 and is registered for GST.
A tax invoice is included with all orders.
